ARGO Math: Geometry
The Geometry component of JASON’s ARGO Math is titled “Here’s Looking at Euclid” to honor the Greek scholar and the mathematics he developed. In Greek, “geometry” means “to measure earth.” Euclidean geometry is the study of plane (two-dimensional) and solid (three-dimensional) figures.
After lessons composed of videos and activities students will have developed the math skills they need to design, build, and decorate their own innovative tiny houses. Through immersive, hands-on learning experiences, supported by Math-Mapper, a revolutionary, learner-centered math learning tool developed by researchers at North Carolina State University, students gain and apply foundational math skills.
